If you've got an upcoming event with Chicago Party Bus in Ancona, you might wonder just what this town is all about. It's a small place that is perhaps best known for formerly serving the Santa Fe Railway at Ancona Station, and it's also associated with the region known as Streatorland. If you're heading out in the 61311 area and looking for great places to dine and drink, these are Chicago Party Bus's Ancona area favorites!
Rose Garden Restaurant is the first place that comes to mind when we think of great places to dine and drink in the Ancona area. It's a place that is well known for their breakfast, so if you're out with Chicago Party Bus in the AM hours, this is the place to be. The pancakes are some of the best we've ever tasted, so light and fluffy and heavenly! Great pricing too.
Joe's Stationhouse Pizzeria is an awesome old school pizzeria where you can dig into some amazing Italian fare with all of your Chicago Party Bus friends in the Ancona area. Everything is old fashioned and high quality here, from the service to the vibe to the food. The portions are huge and you will never leave dissatisfied. The desserts are amazing too. You'll love it here!
Mojito's is a Mexican restaurant that is very well known in the Ancona area and it's a top recommendation from all of us at Chicago Party Bus. The steak fajitas are our go-to item and we just love to wash those fiery creations down with an ice cold margarita. Sterling service, wonderful atmosphere, and just one of the best all around dining experiences in Ancona.
The Bullpen is a bar and barbecue joint that everybody in Ancona just loves, and that includes our Chicago Party Bus customers, not just the locals! We get a lot of requests for this place and we have a feeling that you'll be the next group to do so. Amazing appetizers, but make sure to save room for all the barbecued entrees! The beef, pork, and sausage are just incredible.
Al's Place is one of the newer additions to the Ancona area, found in the former location of Buster's, and boy are we ever pleased with everything that they have brought to this space. The smothered chicken is a top recommendation and we also really love the chicken alfredo. Great prices, a full bar, and a nice laid back atmosphere in which to enjoy some good conversation!
Petri's Pour House is a great spot for Ancona visitors who are craving a nice cold beer, some delicious pub fare like burgers and pizza, and that old fashioned and friendly ambiance and service that is all too hard to find nowadays. The prices are super low and you will not find a better old school atmosphere than this. Very conveniently located on North Chestnut.
Park Place Pub & Grill is another pub that's become a top recommendation for our Chicago Party Bus travelers in Ancona. It's located in a delightfully old school building that's rich with history, and the overall experience here is just so pleasant and inviting. Not only do they have some of the nicest prices in town, but they also have some of the best food. Yummo!
Smitty's Bar & Grill is another one that will never do you wrong when you're out here with your party bus group. It's all about that cozy pub vibe that you're continually seeking from new establishments, and they have some of the greatest pub fare around. We think it's all about the wings, which are served with an array of sauces so you don't have to pick just one!
You don't have to be a schmoe to appreciate the yummy pub fare that is available all day and all night at Schmoe's! Located out here in South Chestnut for our Ancona area Chicago Party Bus travelers, you will not find a more laid back and relaxing spot than this. The chicken is absolutely out of this world and that's just for starters. Really superb service here too.
Woody's Family Restaurant is a nice one if you're out in the Ancona area with a Chicago Party Bus group of all ages. We've usually got 21+ groups, but when you're traveling with your family and you want a cozy atmosphere, this place will serve you right. Great grilled ham and cheese here, and we just love indulging in their soup of the day, which is always homemade. Impressive!
